vista beta 2 hangs shuttle barebone ati ixp150 chipset

Vista Beta 2 hangs - Shuttle barebone (ATI IXP150 chipset)

I haven't been able to install Vista since it changed name from "Longhorn" to "Vista" (don't remember the build numbers atm).
I am trying to install it on the following system:
- Shuttle barebone (ATI-chipset IXP150) - Pentium4 2.8GHz - 1Gb RAM - 250 GB HD (IDE)
I have XP installed on the first parition, and I am currently trying to install Vista on the second one. The motherboard also has a SiliconImage SATA RAID chip, but I don't have anything connected to it or using it.
I am starting the VISTA installation from within XP, but am not doing an upgrade, instead I chose to install it on the second parition. After the first movement of installation files, the installation program reboots and enters the "Vistas core", during the "Expanding files" part of the installation it always hangs on 76%. Does anyone have anything smart to say about this or how I can get it to work?
I'm guessing that this has something to do with the ATI-chipset, since it's not very common. But this is a far out guess...
Any known issues with this chipset or does anyone else in here been able to install Vista Beta2 on a Shuttle barebone with ATI-chipsets?
Kind regards Magnus Flysjö

I, too, have not been able to install the Customer Preview of Vista beta 2 from the MS DVD on my computer, which is a Shuttle model X: Motherboard: Shuttle FT61 Chipset: ATI Radeon 9100 IGP Memory: 1024 MB Bios: Award (08/31/04) HD's: Two(2) 185 Gb Raid: SiliconeImage on motherboard
I upgraded Windows XP and all drivers I could find before starting.
First I tried as an upgrade to the current Windows XP with SP2. It just lock-ups the compter anyware from 12% to 49% of the "Expanding Files" process. Second, I booted my computer in Safe Mode and tried the install. A message informed me tha an "upgrade" from Windows XP is not available in that mode. So, I chose a new install. After a while I received a message that the SiliconeImage RAID driver could not be installed and that the computer may not boot-up. I did not want an inoperative system after all that effort, so I cancelled the installation.
I would appreciate any and all advice.

I installed the drivers on a USB stick and installed them from there. This solved my initial problem. Reading the drivers via the Shuttle floppy did not work.

Installed the Raid ddriver on a USB stick (not in directory) and this solved the installation issue
